Elton Chalk, 73, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2011 at his home in Brandon. Visitation is 5 until 8 pm Friday at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Services are 10 am Saturday at Ott & Lee with burial in New Brandon Cemetery.
Mr. Chalk was a native of Jackson, Mississippi and a longtime resident of Brandon. He was an active member of River of Life Assembly of God Church. Mr. Chalk was a home builder and real estate broker in Rankin County. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Mary A. of Brandon; son, Brian and wife, Erin of Brandon, son, Barry and wife, Sheila of Brandon, son, Tracy; brother, Billy of Anniston, AL and sister, Jean of Brandon; 3 grandchildren, Justin, Victoria and Christopher.
