Emily Everett Gage Ludt, 77, a retired school teacher, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation is 5-8 pm Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon and 11 am Wednesday at Lakeland Presbyterian Church in Flowood. Services are 1 pm Wednesday at Lakeland Presbyterian Church with burial in Brandon Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Ludt was a native of Booneville, MS and a longtime resident of the Jackson area. She was a very active member of her church, currently being a member of Lakeland Presbyterian Church in Flowood. Mrs. Ludt was a former member of Central Presbyterian Church and Alta Woods Presbyterian Church in Jackson where she played the piano. She also enjoyed being a seamstress and enjoyed art in her later years.
Survivors include her husband, Walter Clayton Ludt of Pearl; daughters, Laurie Stovall of Brandon, Suzanne Redd of Madison, Amy Kelly of Terry and Jeanie High of Brandon; step-son, Eddie Ludt of Ft. Worth, Texas; brother, Raymond Gage of Pearl; sister, Becky Massey of Cartersville, GA. and 14 grandchildren.
