Emma Grace Warner Moss, age 82, and a resident of McComb died Thursday, April 16, 2020, following an extended illness.
Private services will be held for the family on Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at Homewood Baptist Church with the Reverend Doyle Boyles officiating. A private graveside service will follow in the Eastern Cemetery.
She was born on Monday, April 11, 1938, in Pike County to her parents John Daunt Warner and Evie Lee Tullos Warner.
She was a homemaker and a member of Forest Baptist Church when she lived in Forest. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who always enjoyed visiting with her family and friends. She loved playing cards and was always ready for a round of golf. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Preceding her in death were her parents and, husband, Walter Wade “Shorty” Moss, Sr.
Survivors include her 4 children, Deborah J. Moss of McComb, MS; John Michael Moss of Wyoming, Walter Wade Moss (Lisa) of Forest, MS., Lisa L. Jones (Christopher) of Advance, N.C; a brother, Johnny H. Warner of Brandon, MS; sisters, Dorothy W. Carter of Pelahatchie, MS. Betty W. Dunaway (Ronnie) of Baton Rouge, LA. and Mary W. Rayborn (John Edward) of Clinton, MS. She also leaves behind a legacy of 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
