Mrs. Emma Jean Williams Prestage, age 76, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at her residence. Visitation will be held 5-8pm Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Services will be held 2pm Monday, December 18, 2017 from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Eureka Baptist Cemetery. Bro. Danny Dickerson officiated the services.
Mrs. Prestage was born in Leesburg, MS on June 27, 1941. She loved working in her flowers, quilting and working word search books. Emma Jean enjoyed listening to gospel and blue grass music. She loved the peacefulness of sitting on her front porch, playing dominoes and cooking. She loved her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren and those who knew her will greatly miss her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Eugene Prestage; parents, Otis Williams and Lena Pearl Trest Williams; sister, Peggy Ashley.
She is survived by her 5 children, Charles Prestage (Beth) of Sandhill, Glen Prestage (Donna) of Lena, Dewayne Prestage of Carthage, Wanda Halbrook (John) of Morton and Gary Prestage (Kristen) of Brandon; 2 sisters, Otis Faye Denson (Billy) of Purvis and Janice Jones (Bill) of Eureka; 12 grandchildren, Brad Prestage (Shannon), Zack Prestage, Brandon Mitchell, Chris Prestage (Melissa), Brandon Prestage (Mandi), Cain Prestage, Nick Prestage, Will Prestage, Brittany Beauchamp (Bryan), Cody Huff, Lainey Prestage and Kinzleigh Prestage 10 great grandchildren and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Cody Huff, Chris Prestage, Brandon Prestage, Zack Prestage, Mitchell Craig and Bryan Beauchamp.
Honorary pallbearers will be Clark Stewart and Milton Junior Stewart.
