Erin Lee Hodge, 16, a resident of Polkville died, Thursday, April 5, 2012 at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation was held 4-9 pm Saturday, April 7, 2012 and 10 am until 2 pm Monday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Monday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home chapel in Morton with burial in the Oak Grove Church of God Cemetery. Rev. Larry Dennis and Rev. Chris Douglas officiated the services. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton was in charge of the arrangements.

Erin is a native of Huntsville, AL. He is the son of J.D. Homer Hodge and Stephanie Beatty. He lived life to the fullest. Erin loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, working on cars, dogs, and his horse Buttercup. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends. Erin loved his family and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Erin is preceded in death by his father, J.D. Homer Hodge, grandparents, Ruth and Hugh Sheldon, Margaret Knox and Homer J.D. Hodge.

Erin is survived by his mother, Stephanie (Johnny) Beatty of Polkville; brother, Cody Hodge of Huntsville, AL; sister, Marie Hodge of Polkville; step grandparents, David and Joyce Beatty; nephews, Riley Everett Hodge, Ryan Eli Talbert and Jesse James Hughs; many other family members and a host of friends.

Serving as pallbearers were, Cody Hodge, Matthew Stevens, Casey Means, Lance Walker, Butch Hamilton and Matthew Mosly.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were Junior Watkins, Frank Allen, Jeffery Allen.
