E. Ross Hogan, a longtime resident of Brandon, MS passed away Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015 at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS while surrounded by his family. He was 65.
Ross was born on Nov. 16, 1949 in Jackson, MS to Charles Ralph Hogan and Dorothy Elaine Fowler. He grew up in Jackson and attended Central High School in Jackson, MS. Ross also attended the University of Southern Mississippi where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and a minor in computer sciences. After college, he became a Certified Petroleum Landman until joining Trustmark National Bank in 1986. He retired as Vice President at Trustmark in Jackson, MS after a 28 year career. He was a kind and selfless man who was adored by all who knew him. He loved to play golf, he loved USM football and most of all, he loved his family with his entire heart.
He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah P. Hogan of Brandon, MS; his son, Dr. Robert Jeffrey Hogan (Ann) of Watkinsville, GA; his daughter, Ashley Hogan Lott (Andy) of Biloxi, MS; his grandchildren, Samuel Robert Hogan, Ben Ross Hogan, Tyler Andrew Lott, and Seth Hogan Lott, and his brother, Charles Ralph Hogan Jr. (Marilyn).
Visitation will be held on Tues. Aug. 4, 2015 from 5pm-6:45pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Memorial Services will be held at 7pm on Tues. Aug. 4, 2015 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS.
