Esther Ruth Williams

Esther Ruth Williams, 94, of Brandon, MS peacefully passed away September 8, 2023, at Magnolia Senior Care in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. with services following at 1:00 pm in the chapel. Interment will follow in Johns Cemetery.

Esther was a native of Polkville, MS, and born on December 31, 1928, to Talmadge D. Bradshaw, Sr. and Maggie Lott Bradshaw. She was a member of the Crossgates Baptist Church and loved the Lord. She loved her family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Mims Williams, parents, Talmadge D. Sr. and Maggie Lott Bradshaw; siblings, Curtis Bradshaw, Iby Bradshaw, William Bradshaw, Douglas Bradshaw, Talmadge Bradshaw, Jr., Margie Thornton, Theda Bradshaw and Cuma Lee Ainsworth.

Esther is survived by her son, Mitch Williams of Vicksburg, siblings, Margaret Bridges of Raliegh and Flynt Bradshaw of Puckett, sisters-in-law Joanne Jones of Pelahatchie and Glenda Williams of Brandon, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the American Heart Association or Crossgates Baptist Church.
