Ethel Inez Lyle Faulkner, 88, died Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at her residence.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 11:00am in the chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest with interment in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Leake County. Visitation was held from 5pm-8pm Friday, December 13, 2013. Rev. Carl Rigby officiated.
Mrs. Faulkner was born in Leake County on August 12, 1925 to her parents John Robert Lyle and Annie May Brooks Lyle. She lived in the Clifton community most of her live. She was a member of the Macedonia New Testament Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister; Minnie D. Sanders, 4 brothers; Lawrence Lee(Larry) Lyle, William Clyde Lyle, Matthew Lyle and John Baptist(Bab) Lyle. Survivors include her husband of 73 years, Denzel Faulkner of Forest and her son, Medric Denzel Faulkner of Forest.
Pallbearers were Tomas Nichols, Lyle Richardson, Tommy Lyle, Jerry Lyle, Eddie Richardson, John Lyle, Rickie Lyle, Dale Lyle, Robert Jerrell Lyle, Harold Jean Lyle, Don Sanders, Jon Nichols, Clayton Lott and Glenn Lott.
