Ethell D. Clark, 86, a resident of Leakesville, died Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Saturday, January 4, 2014, at the First United Pentecostal Church in Leakesville with burial in the Millard Clark Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-9 pm at the church. Rev. Irvis Dale Everette, Rev. David Clark and Rev. Cody Cooley will officiate the services. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS, will be in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Clark was a native of Greene Co. She was the daughter of Katie Dueitt. She was married 59 years to Millard E. Clark. Mrs. Clark was a member of The First United Pentecostal Church of Leakesville. She worked many years for Basila Manufacturing. She loved her family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her mother, Katie Dueitt, husband, Millard E. Clark, son, Lionel C. Clark, son-in-law, David Lamont Nicholson, brother, Raymond Dueitt, sister, Mary Ellen Dueitt Lewis, sister, Myrna Jay Dueitt Cooley and a brother, Ken Maynard “Buddy” Dueitt.
Mrs. Clark is survived by her children, Ronald R. (Charlotte) Clark, Kathy L. Nicholson, Breta K. (Floyd) Smith, Melton E. Clark and step daughter Linda (Robert) Walley; 14 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins and a host of friends.
