Funeral services for Eugene Lee Culpepper, age 89, a resident of Forest will be held at 11am Wednesday December 8, 2010 at Forest Baptist Church with interment to follow at Eastern Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10am to 10:45am at the church
Mr. Culpepper passed away Sunday December 5, 2010 at Lackey Hospital in Forest following a brief illness.
He was the son of Samuel and Susan Graham Culpepper. Mr. Culpepper was a graduate of East Central Community College and Mississippi College. He received his masters degree from University of Southern Mississippi. He was a teacher and administrator at Goodhope, Macedonia and Rose Hill schools, followed by employment with Field Enterprises Educational Corporation for thirty-eight years.
Mr. Culpepper was a longtime member of Forest Baptist Church, Lions Club and the VFW. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during WWII. He was devoted to his family, wife, Betty Greener Culpepper, daughter, Leigh Ann Tillman and son Kevin Culpepper, granddaughter Katherine Tillman and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be the Forest Lions Club.
Ott & Lee Funeral Home of Forest is in charge of arrangements.
