Eunice Craig, 92, a residence of Leesburg near Pelahatchie, died Friday, April 16, 2010 at her residence. Visitation was held 5pm-until Saturday, April 17th at the Leesburg Church of Christ. Services were conducted 3pm Sunday, April 18, 2010 from the Leesburg Church of Christ with burial in the Leesburg Baptist Cemetery. Rev. Jack Stewart officiated the services.
Mrs. Craig was a native of Rankin County. She was a member of the Leesburg Baptist Church. She worked in the poultry business for many years. Mrs. Craig will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband Archie Lee Craig; parents, Dolphas Allen and Eva Renfroe Allen; son, Charles Ray Craig; brothers, J.D. Allen and Curtis Allen; sisters, Merle Allen, Ruby Renfroe, Francis Davis and Edna Harris.
Survivors include her son, Danny Craig (Mary) of Pelahatchie; 2 grandchildren, Michael Craig (Terrie) of Pelahatchie and Mitchell Craig (Becky) of Pelahatchie; 5 great grandchildren, Justin, Kayla, Tommy and Dustin Craig and Christopher Coley, many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were Michael Craig, Mike Allen, Larry Allen, Donnie Ray Crabtree, Jessie Ray Shoemaker and Soley Ray Renfroe.
Honorary pallbearers were Justin Craig, Tommy Craig and Kevin Jones.
