Eva Rae Hegwood, 78, passed away Sat. March 9, 2013 at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held Mon. March 11, 2013 from 4pm.-7pm. and Tues. March 12, 2013 from 10am.-10:45am. at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Richland, MS. Funeral Services are 11am. Tues. March 12, 2013 at the funeral home with burial to follow in the Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.
Mrs. Hegwood was a member of First Baptist Church in Richland, MS. She retired from Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS after 31 years of service as a surgical tech.
She is survived by her son, Mike Hegwood and his girlfriend Tammy Crum; sister, Beatrice Berg; two brothers, Morace Huff and William Huff and his wife Rose; granddaughter, Samantha Salley and her husband Tim and two great grandchildren, Breanna and Peyton Salley.
