Evelyn passed away on Thursday night November 25, 2010 and was just as beautiful as the day she was voted Most Beautiful at Brandon High School. She was born in Catchings, MS on August 1, 1926.

Our mother is remembered for her sweet disposition, quiet nature, her ageless beauty and her love of family, friends and church. She participated in a number of hobbies such as quilting , gardening, Homemakers Club, working the daily crossword puzzles in the paper and cooking for her children, grandchildren and church family. She was a deeply devoted wife, mother and grandmother who displayed unlimited generosity to everyone, never met a stranger and always helped those around her to find the positive things in life. She prepared for this day her entire life as she loved the Lord with all her heart and soul, read her devotionals and Bible Scriptures daily. She will be missed by all of us who are left behind.

Her parents, Alma and Earl Yount, her brothers Kenneth and Harry Yount and her son, Mark Anthony Tuten, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Jack W. Tuten; three children, Howard Tuten and wife, Gloria of Pearl, MS, John Tuten and wife, Sharon of Brandon, MS and Betty Ainsworth and husband Chuck of Brandon, MS. She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Clark Robbins, Randy Knight, Robert Warren, Richard Warren, Lem Adams III, and Josh Thrash.
