Mrs. Fannie Mae HollingsworthNewton,Ms.Mrs. Fannie Mae Hollingsworth age 88 and a resident of Newton, died April 10, 2012 in Newton.Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2012 from the chapel of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest with interment in the Lawrence Cemetery. Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest. Rev. Ken McLemore, Rev. Brent Parks, and Rev. Tommy Anderson officiated.


Mrs. Hollingsworth was born February 15, 1924 in Newton County to Torrey McDonald and Fannie Parks McDonald. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lake Baptist Church.She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Hollingsworth and her survivors include two children, Patricia Hollingsworth Lowe (Alan) of Lake; Torrey Freeman Hollingsworth(Sherri) of Sandhill; also by four grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were her grandsons and the honorary pallbearers were the Deacons of Lake Baptist Church.
