Fannie Mae Keyes, age 93, a resident of Brandon passed away on November 24, 2015. Visitation was held 10am-12pm Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Funeral service was held 12pm at the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Bethel Baptist Cemetery in Smith County. Bro. Ricky Gray and Bro. Rick Henson officiated the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Fannie Mae was born in Smith County on September 28, 1922. She worked at Chef Pierre Pie Factory in Quality Control for many years and she also worked at Talon Zipper Plant in Morton. Fannie Mae loved her family very much and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is preceded in death by 2 husbands, Harvey Keyes and Aubrey P. Parkman; parents, A.F. Hollingsworth and Fannie Idell Mosley Hollingsworth; 6 sisters, Elna Ruth Hollingsworth Puckett, Christine Hollingsworth Craft, Bessie Hollingsworth Russum, Maxie Hollingsworth Shavers, Maudean Hollingsworth Kearney and Tressie Hollingsworth Willoughby; 4 brothers, Odell, Dewitt, Wilson and Willis Hollingsworth.
She is survived by her daughter, Jo Ann Parkman Bailey (David) of Brandon; 3 grandchildren, Dwight Spencer Bailey, Lori Ann Moskowtiz (Ken) and Scott Preston Bailey (Kaye); brother-in-law, Roy Shavers of Fort Payne, AL; special friend, June Strait of Brandon; a host of nieces, nephews and other friends.
Pallbearers were David Hollingsworth, Randy McCoy, Bobby Puckett, Cody Holmes, Andrew Bailey, Dustin Holmes, Tony Byrd and Donald Puckett. Honorary pallbearer was John Russum.
Memorials may be made in her honor to the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
