Mrs. Norma Faye Long Sullivan, age 79, a resident of Morton passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be held 5pm-8pm Friday, January 4, 2019 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Chapel services will be held 11am Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Clifton Baptist Cemetery. There will be no graveside service. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Mrs. Sullivan was born on August 16, 1939 in Scott County. She was an avid animal lover and took care of many animals that would wander up to her home. Faye loved to sew, shop and watch The Young & The Restless. She loved her family and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Norman W. Long and Jennie Henry Long; 1st husband, James H. McCaughn; 2nd husband, Truitt A. Sullivan; brother, Robert E. Long; sister-in-law, Lola Long.
She is survived by her children, Tammy McCaughn of Morton, Glenda Sullivan of Forest and Julie Derrick (Ricky) of Morton; brother, Prentice Long (Vicki) of Brandon; best friend, Dorothy Hudson of Morton; double 1st cousin, Carolyn Merrit of AL; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
