Felton George Collins

Felton George Collins, 84, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Graveside services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Collins was a native of Louisiana and a short time resident of Brandon, MS. For many years, he owned and operated Slidell Optics in Slidell, Louisiana and was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Navy Veteran.

Survivors include his daughter, Michele Collins of Round Rock, Texas; siblings, Garland Collins of Tioga, LA, Betty Jean Evers of Dry Prong, LA, Joyce Myatt of Alexandria, LA and Rita Pruitt of Brandon, MS; grandchildren, Forrest Collins, Adrienne Collins-Ezzo, Eddie Collins, Jacob Collins, Shannon Emery, Tara Wirt, Erik Heitmeier, Amy Heitmeier-Herbert, Micayla Sintron-Collins.  He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and his precious companion and fur baby, Hope.

Mr. Collins was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Collins, son and daughter-in-law, Eddie Dean Collins and Joy Norris-Collins; son and great-granddaughter, Donald Wayne Collins and Alina Rene Ezzo and son, Michael Collins; parents, George Edward and Willie Mae Collins; siblings, Kenneth Lonell Collins, Douglas Donell Collins, Donald Mack Collins and Mary Sue Collins.
