Floyd Bouslay, Jr.

Floyd Ronald "Ron” Bouslay, Jr., 65, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away Friday, December 20, 2019 at home surrounded by his family. A memorial service will be held at 11 am Monday, December 23, 2019 at Cross Roads Baptist Church in Pelahatchie, MS. Visitation will be held from 10-11 am at the church.

Ron was born March 19, 1954 in Greenville, SC to Floyd Ronald Bouslay, Sr. and Shirleen Stuart Bouslay. He was married to Connie Meadows Bouslay. Ron was a contractor and owned Bouslay Construction Company. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He loved to golf, tell jokes and his motto was “I love it when a plan comes together”. He was supportive of his family and enjoyed cheering for his girls at their softball games. He will always be remembered as a wonderful husband and father. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Ron was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Ronald Bouslay, Sr.; brother, Keith Bouslay and his sister, Gwen Gabona.

Ron is survived by his wife of 28 years, Connie Meadows Bouslay; his children, Kayla Winstead (Dillon), Abby Bouslay, Brooke Boggan, Blair Johnson (Justin) and Brent Burrough (Nicole); grandchildren, Bella Boggan, Adalai Boggan, Lorne Johnson, Elin Johnson, Nora Burrough and Lela Burrough; mother, Shirleen Stuart Bouslay; sisters, Cindy Campbell and Dawn Dunaway (Terry); brother, James Bouslay; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
