Frances Tucker

Frances W. Tucker, 91, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Brandon Court Nursing Home, where she resided after living with her son Charles and Deborah Tucker. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 12 Noon at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services will follow at 1 pm from the Chapel of Ott & Lee with burial in Line Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Morton, MS.
Frances was born on October 16, 1925 in Pelahatchie, MS to the late Charles Judson and Eva Rochester Winstead. She had lived at her family home on Line Creek Road in Scott County until she became ill. She had retired from the Department of Agriculture after more than 25 years of service.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William (Bill) Tucker and a daughter, Virginia Harrison.
Survivors include two sons, James A. Tucker (Claudette) of Morton and Charles R. Tucker (Deborah) of Brandon; sister, Ann Winstead Miles of Morton; grandchildren, Mary Cooley, Emily Calhoun, and Laura Smith; six great grandchildren, Seth Prestage, Cara Beth Calhoun, Case Calhoun, Zoe Smith, and Annlea and Landon smith.
Memorials may be made to Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital.
