Frances Ivadelle Fletcher Welborn, 91, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at her home in Brookhaven, MS. Visitation is Sunday, May 17, 2015 from 2 pm until 4 pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services will follow at 4 pm Sunday from the Chapel of Ott & Lee with burial to follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Frances was born on August 23, 1923 in Lena, MS to Floyd Fletcher and Willie Ann Crawford Fletcher. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Brookhaven, MS. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Welborn; her parents, Floyd and Annie Fletcher; her sisters, Marie Welborn and Floye Davis; her brother, James Fletcher; brother in law, Winton Welborn; and son in law, Sam Carruba.
She is survived by daughters, Joan Carruba of Fulshear, TX and Kathy Davis and husband, Joe of Brookhaven, MS; five grandchildren, Angela, Scott, Amy, Shannon, and Chad; seven great grandchildren, Logan, Cole, Kayla, Cade, Alayna, Mason, and Justin; her sister, Diane Burkes of Brandon, MS; and her brother, Dwight Fletcher and wife, Trudy of Brandon, MS; and a number of nieces and nephews.
