Francis Kerrigan

Francis “Franny” John Kerrigan, 60, a resident of Jackson, MS died Wednesday, July , 2013 at the Sonny Montgomery V.A. Medical Center in Jackson, MS. There will be a graveside service at a later date. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Kerrigan was a native of New York. He was the son of the Robert Kerrigan and Janet McCafferty. He worked as a welder for the MS steel Company for 24 years. He was the Baptist faith. He was a free spirit, the life of the party, very funny, and a family man was some of the memories his family had of him. Mr. Kerrigan proudly served his country in the US Army. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
Mr. Kerrigan was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Kerrigan and Janet McCafferty, and his son, Christopher Joseph Kerrigan.
Mr. Kerrigan is survived by his son, Joel Dennis Kerrigan of Brandon; daughter, Rebecca “Nikki” Kerrigan of Pearl; grandchildren, Nicholas Kerrigan and James Kerrigan both of Pearl; step daughter, Evelyn (Chris) Bradshaw of Brandon; step son, Robert Cassidy of Brandon; sisters, Jean Kerrigan (Richard) Hirsch, ME, Susan (Robert) Heckert, PA and Corine Radewonuk of PA; brothers, Joseph (Kelly) Kerrigan of NH, Dennis (Louise) Kerrigan of PA; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
