Frank Eugene Brashier, age 72, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be held at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS, on Friday, October 20, 2017, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held in the Ott and Lee Chapel at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 21, 2017. Interment will be at Lakeland Place Garden Park Cemetery on Highway 25, Flowood, MS.
Frank was born on October 14, 1945, in Irondale, AL. He was the son of Rev. Dermont Keith Brashier and Sarah Watson Brashier, both of whom preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Steele Brashier of Brandon, MS, his daughter Karsen Brashier Wilford and son-in-law Patrick Wilford of Birmingham, AL, and his wonderful grandsons, James and Charles Wilford of Birmingham, AL, all of whom he loved dearly.
Frank worked for First Mississippi National Bank (now Bancorp South) for many years and then was a Sales Representative for American of Martinsville until retirement. He loved watching Alabama football, fishing, playing golf, and having breakfast and coffee every morning with his buddies at the Pelahatchie Bay Trading Post. His favorite pastime, though, was spending time and playing with his grandsons.
