Frank Jackson

Frank Jackson, age 76, a resident of Mendenhall passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Bedford Care Center.  Visitation will be held 10am-12pm Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.  Chapel service will be held at 12pm from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Eureka Baptist Cemetery.  Jason Runnels will officiate the services.  Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton is honored to serve the Jackson family.

Mr. Jackson was born in Canton, MS on January 15, 1948.  He loved painting small pictures and singing in the choir.  Frank was a carpenter by trade and was great at building cabinets and furniture.  He was a quiet person but enjoyed his private life.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy Jackson, Sr. and Ava Mae Smith Jackson and wife, Janice Jackson in 1988.  

He is survived by his son, Kevin Jackson and wife, Shannan of Brandon; sister, Frances Jackson of Philadephia; brother, Jimmy Smitty Jackson, Jr. of North Carolina; 2 grandchildren, Janice Leann Sims (Dusty) and Erin Hall Jenkins (Caleb); 4 great grandchildren, Loyd Brody Sims, Ripp Scott Sims, Oakland Grace Jenkins and Harper Leann Sims.
