Frank Jordan, Jr.

A memorial service will be held 11am Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Eastside Baptist Church in Pelahatchie, MS. Frank Edward Jordan, Jr., also known as Eddie Buckalew, was born in Scott County, May 2, 1947 to his parents: Frank Edward Jordan, Sr. and Shirley Buckalew Jordan Rogers. He was a longtime resident of Pelahatchie and a NASCAR racing fan. He was a retired truck driver. He died Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson at the age of 67. Survivors include his companion Bonnie Owens of Canton; his mother: Shirley Buckalew Rogers; six children: Andrea Johnson, Frank Jordan, III, Stephanie Renfroe, Justin Jordan, Keith Jordan, and Kristie Harper; three step-children: Ashley Owens, Madison Owens, and Kristi Thompson; 16 grandchildren; 15 great –grandchildren; two sisters: Eugenia Chisolm and Maria Harrell; and one brother: Sonny Rogers. He was preceded in death by his father who passed away when he was very young; his step-father, who raised him: Pete Rogers; one son: Jeremy “Bubba” Harper; and one brother: Claude “Junior” Rogers.Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
