Frank A. Joyner, 90, a resident of Flowood, MS passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Merit Health River Oaks in Flowood, MS. A graveside service will be held 11 am Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at the The Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton, MS. Visitation will be held from Tuesday from 9-10 am at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.
Mr. Joyner was a native of Harperville, MS and was the son of William C. Joyner and Alice Cox Joyner. He was married to Mary R. Dennis Joyner. Mr. Joyner worked as a Printer for the US Senate. He proudly served his country in the US Army. He loved his family very much and will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Mr. Joyner was preceded in death by his parents, William C. Joyner and Alice Cox Joyner; brother, W.C. Joyner; sisters, Mary Joyner Rase’ and Yvonne Joyner.
Mr. Joyner is survived by his wife of 71 years, Mary R. Dennis Joyner; children, Gerald Joyner and Janice Joyner; granddaughter, Kristen Joyner (Mike) Dahl; great granddaughter, Brielle C. Dahl; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
