Frank Lee Ketchum, 73, Retired Sales Professional, died Friday, August 5, 2016, at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be held 11 am Monday, August 8, 2016 at the Brandon Baptist Church, where he was a member with the interment at Brandon Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 3-5 pm Sunday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Rev. Farley Earnest and Dr. Clarence Cooper will officiate the services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.
Frank was born in Yazoo County, MS on February 20, 1943 to the late James E. Ketchum, Sr. and Vera Pierce Ketchum. He worked in the food distribution business for over 50 years. The highlight of his career was serving as District Sales Manager for Kraft Food Services in Jackson, MS. He also worked as a broker representative. He was also a longstanding member of the Jackson Jaycees.
He was preceded in death by his brother James E. Ketchum, Jr. and Angela Ketchum Nicholas.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Brown Ketchum of Brandon; sons Kellon F. Ketchum (Wendy) of Flowood and Trey S. Ketchum (Jessica) of Brandon; grandsons Christopher K. Ketchum, S. Cole Ketchum, and Lawson B. Ketchum; brother, Taz Ketchum (Betty); sisters Cornelia Ketchum Kraft, Carol Ketchum Montgomery (Jerry), Bessie Ketchum Ellis, Donna Ketchum Kraft (Bernie), all of Benton, MS.
Pallbearers will be Horace Yarbrough, Curtis McNeil, Seth Rogers, Cliff Mitchell, Kenneth Wilkinson, Richard Nickles, Scotty Ketchum, and Marlon John Stubblefield. Honorary Pallbearers are the members of Farley Earnest’s Sunday School Class at Brandon Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brandon Baptist Church Building Fund, 100 Brandon Baptist Drive, Brandon, MS, 39042.
