Frankie Paulette Thompson, 67, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at her daughters home in Brandon. Visitation is 5 pm until 8 pm Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Services are 2 pm Thursday, January 13, 2011 in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow in Old Pisgah Cemetery. Rev. Willie Glen Allen officiating.
Mrs. Thompson was born September 3, 1943 to K.L. Smith and Thelma Estelle Meek Smith. She retired from Vickers and was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband 31 years ago, Arnold Thompson. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Van J. Smith, Louis Smith, Nolan Smith and sisters, Katherine Smith and Naomi Everitt.
Survivors include her daughters, Debbie Gowan, Wanda Thompson and Donna Thompson; son, Scottie Thompson; brother, K.L. Smith of Charlotte, NC and sister, Nona Norris of New Orleans, LA and half sisters, Nora Smith and Mayola Patrick; grandchildren, Shannon Prestage, T.J. Vaughan, Nicholas Gurram, Lee Gowan, Kelly, Hayden and Kendall Thompson; and 2 great grandchildren, Adysen Vaughan and Emily Grace Prestage.
