G. C. Saul, of Brandon, Mississippi, passed away at his home on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the age of 92.
Visitation will be held at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00 am with the funeral service immediately following in the chapel at 11:00 am. He will be laid to rest in Lakeland Place Memorial Park in Brandon.
Mr. Saul was born March 25, 1933, in Baxterville, Mississippi, to James Leon Saul and Mollie Smith Saul. He worked in forestry for a few years during his early life, before pursuing a lifelong career in contracting and construction. He was a deacon and a Mason, as well as a talented woodworker. He and his wife were members of Oakdale Baptist Church in Brandon for more than twenty years. More than anything, he loved his family and spending time with them. He was an incredible husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Mollie Saul; daughter, Jane Ann Saul; son-in-law, Johnny Brown; four brothers; and four sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Aneita Barrett Saul; children, Phyllis Brown, Sonya Lane (Mickey), and Greg Saul (Laina); grandchildren, Will Brown (Erika), Taylor Lane (Leah), Briana Cleary (Stephen), Mandy Lane, and Brayden Lane; and great grandchildren, Delilah, Dani, and Macie.
