Gary Michael Frith Sr., a resident of Morton died Sunday, May 11, 2014 at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation was held 4-9 pm Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Funeral services were held 2 pm, Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton with burial in the Eastside Baptist Church Cemetery in Pelahatchie, MS. Rev. Glenn Curtis officiated the services. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton were in charge of the services.
Mr. Frith was a native of Magee, MS in Simpson County. He was the son of Charlie David and Margaret Ann Renfroe Frith. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church of Pelahatchie. Mr. Frith has lived in Morton for over sixteen years. He was self-employed as a mechanic for over forty-five years. Mr. Frith loved to travel and liked racing cars. He loved his family and friends and spending time with them always brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Mr. Frith was survived by his parents, Charlie David and Margaret Ann Renfroe Frith; daughter, Danielle Frith of Pelahatchie, MS; son, Gary Michael Frith Jr of Brandon, MS; brothers, Jerry Wayne Frith (Shirley) of Denham Springs, LA, Larry David Frith (Erma) of Morton; grandchildren, Micah Frith, Cecil Ballard, Tomas Hernandez, Adrian Hernandez; and a host of family and friends.
Serving as Pallbearers were Wendell Frith, John Jones, Bruce Hamilton, Justin Phillips, Sonny Renfroe, and Cody Smith. Honorary Pallbearers were John Bynum and Jeffery Smith.
