Gary was born on November 29, 1941 in San Francisco, CA to the late Claude Bertram and Gladys Mary Jones Thomas. He was a self employed auto mechanic at North Point Auto Repair for many years.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Loretta Thomas of Brandon, MS; his children, Robert Thomas of Pollock Plains, CA, Robin, Leann Ferreiera, and Michael Thomas all of Concord, CA, Lynn Ray (Eddie) of Brandon, MS, Joyce Newson (Don) of Brandon, MS, Vicki Liddicoat (Les) of Georgetown, CA, and Karen Black of Park City, UT; his brother, Bruce Thomas of San Francisco, CA; fourteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
