Gayle H. Grant

Gayle H. Grant, 78, passed away on Thurs. Aug. 22, 2024 in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Sun. Aug. 25, 2024 from 1pm-2pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2pm on Sun. Aug. 25, 2024 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Fannin Baptist Cemetery in Fannin, MS.

Mrs. Grant was born in Jackson, MS on Dec. 29, 1945 to the late Mallory E. Hollingsworth and Christine Wallace Hollingsworth. She was a member of Fannin Baptist Church in Fannin, MS. Mrs. Grant enjoyed playing Bunko and spending time with her family, especially her grandson.

She is survived by her son, Richey Grant; grandson, Jay Grant; brother, Ben Hollingsworth (Kathleen); three nieces, Angie Slater Moore (Matthew), Stephanie Loyd (Vernon), Erin Parker (Chaz) and two nephews, Art Hancock (Brooke) and Biff Hollingsworth (Kate). Mrs. Grant is also preceded in death by her husband, William Baxter Grant; son, Robby Grant and a sister, Nancy Hancock.
