Gene A. Mann, 86, a resident of Brandon, MS died Sunday, April 11, 2016 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be held 1 pm Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with the interment following at the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11am until 12:45 pm Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the funeral home. Rev. Ken McLemore will officiate the services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.
Mr. Mann was a native of Beckley, West Virginia. He was the son of Arnold W. Mann and Gladys Calloway Mann. He was married to Jeanine Price Mann. Mr. Mann proudly served his country in the United States Navy and retired as a Master Chief. He loved his family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Mr. Mann was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanine Price Mann; his parents, Arnold W. Mann and Gladys Calloway Mann.
Mr. Mann is survived by his children, Gene Arnold Mann, Jr. and Aaron Windell and his wife Denise; grandchildren, Jennifer, Paige, Zachary and Grace Mann, Amanda Peterson and David Adam Moudy; great grandchildren, Bella Foote, Mikalylee Foote and Riley Mann; and a host of friends.
