George B. Antley, Jr.,86, died in Gulfport, MS on October 24. He was born in Forest, MS on September 19, 1924 and graduated from Forest High School and the University of Oklahoma. He served in the US Air Force in World War II.
His work as an aerospace engineer took him around the country, but especially to the Los Angeles area. He and his wife, Kathy, also raised thoroughbred horses in California and later in Gulfport.
George is survived by a sister, Margaret Brevard of Phoenix, AZ, and two brothers, Joel B. Antley, also of Phoenix, and Eugene B. Antley of Edinboro, PA, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held in Forest at the Eastern Cemetery on Friday, October 29, with the Reverend Larry Patrick officiating.
Ott & Lee Funeral Home of Forest was in charge of arrangements.
