George Hunter Bergold III, 47, passed away Wed. July 4, 2018 at his home in Brandon, MS. Visitation was held on Sun. July 8, 2018 from 12pm-1:45pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services were 2pm on Sun. July 8, 2018 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS. Rev. Scott Alford officiated the services.  There will be a memorial service 11:30am Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Lea Cemetery in Amite County.

Mr. Bergold was born in Metairie, LA and has been a longtime resident of Brandon, MS. He was a member of Pinelake Church in Brandon, MS. Mr. Bergold was an avid LSU fan. He enjoyed going hunting on his family tree farm in Osyka, MS, riding in his boat, and listening to music. Mr. Bergold also loved being surrounded by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Chasedy Bergold; father, Lowry Fox; three sons, Brandon Hunter Bergold, Browning Louis Bergold and Jason Shaw Bergold; two step sons, Jacob Leon Payne and Nickolas Alan Payne; sister, Christie Burgold Callender and brother in law, Greg Callender; aunt, Carol Lynn Bergold Thorne and uncle Frank Thorne; two nieces, Carlie Callender, Landry Callender and a nephew, Cole Callender. Mr. Bergold is preceded in death by his father, George Hunter Bergold II; mother, Marylin Christie Fox and a brother, Jason Fox.
