George Simon

George Jeffrey Simon, age 78, a resident of Brandon, passed away on Tuesday, January  16, 2018 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on will be held at 1pm Saturday, January 20, 2018, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Flowood, MS with visitation starting at 12pm.  Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Pearl, MS.

Mr. Simon was born in Jackson, MS on October 29, 1939 to the late James Edward Simon, Sr. and Lila Sawaya Simon. He is also preceded in death by his brother, James Edward Simon, Jr.

He was a born Salesman all of his life. He worked for Delta Pride Processing in Indianola and was their top Salesman for ten consecutive years. Jeffrey loved to garden, ride his tractor, and flying. But most of all he loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Simon of Brandon; son, James Kevin Simon and his wife Terri of Nashville, TN, daughter, Renee Simon Lee and her husband Joseph of Brandon; sister-in-law, Joyce Simon of Montgomery, AL; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to St. Paul Catholic Church of Flowood or Hospice Ministries of Ridgeland.
