George William Nobles

George William “Bill” Nobles, 84, of Pearl, MS, passed away in Starkville, MS.  Graveside services will be 3pm Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.  Arrangements entrusted the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.  Attendees, please follow the COVID protocols and wear a mask.   Rev. Ted Giordano will officiate the services.

Bill was born the youngest of six siblings in Pelahatchie, MS on January 19, 1937, to the late William Henry Nobles and Mary Ruth Sparks Nobles.  He was a Pharmacy Technician for 40 years, working at Parkin’s Pharmacy and Brents Drugs.  He was a member of Van Winkle United Methodist Church.

Mr. Nobles was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Lizzie Mae Peek, Leon Nobles, Ola Ruth Slate, Fannie Maude Gordon and Jimmie Peagler.  He is survived by several nieces and nephews and other relatives and many friends.
