Geraldine Massey Hunt, 75, passed away, on Monday, January 1, 2024, at the Baptist Hospital in Jackson, MS.  Visitation will be 6-8pm Thursday at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS and on Friday at Fannin Baptist Church from 10am-11am. Services will be 11am Friday, January 5, 2024, at First Baptist Fannin.  Burial will follow in Fannin Baptist Cemetery. 

Mrs. Hunt was born in Cleveland, MS on February 24, 1948, to Odis Ivison Massey and Lucy Mae Doyle Massey. She was born the eldest of five.  Geraldine had a love for her family and loved to traveling with her husband up the east coast and far west as Colorado.  She loved to crochet and to sew. 

Survivors include her husband, Marion Dewayne Hunt; children, Donny Hunt, Michele Fogarty (Jarrod), and Daniel Hunt (Nicole); sister, Linda Comfort (Terry); brothers, Keith Massey (Jan), Frank Massey (Sonja), and Richard Massey (Linda); eight grandchildren, Brent, Timothy, Azia, Kamden, Kyleigh, Saylor, Gaige, and Suttyn Claire; eleven great grandchildren, Brendan, Jayden, Preston, Ethan, Raelynn, Giavanni, Niko, Ezekiel, Allianna, Titus, and Dixon.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and son, Jonathan Hunt.

Memorials may be made in Geraldine's memory to First Baptist Church Fannin, Building Fund.
