Gerald "Jerry" Tillman

Services: 11am Monday, January 5, 2015 at the Ott & Lee Chapel in Forest.
Interment: Eastern Cemetery.
Gerald Wayne “Jerry” Tillman, SR, age 65, a resident of Forest, MS passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2015 in Forest, MS.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Monday January 5, 2015 from the Ott & Lee Chapel with interment to follow in the Eastern Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6pm-8pm Sunday January 4, 2015 and again Monday morning from 9am-10:30am. Rev. Bobby McKay will officiate.
Gerald was born in Alberta, Canada and moved to Scott County where he resided for the remainder of his life. He worked in the poultry equipment industry in Scott County and surrounding areas for over 40 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also an avid Nascar fan and motorcycle enthusiast. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
Gerald was preceded in death by his father, Otis Tillman.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Dottie Tillman, 3 sons; Gerald Wayne Tillman, II, Jason Tillman (Joni) and Joshua Tillman (Katy), his mother; Vera Tillman all of Forest. He is also survived by one brother; Larry Tillman of Richland, one sister; Joyce T. Pace (Bobby) of Brandon. He also leaves a legacy of 8 grandchildren; Nikki Tillman, Austin Tillman, Reese Tillman, Seth Tillman, Caden Tillman, Riley Tillman, Samuel Tillman and Cali Tillman. Gerald is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews, along with a host a friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Pallbearers are Wayne Sorey, Jim Durham, Joe Tadlock, David Hollingsworth, Andy Wedgeworth and Max Sessums.
