Gerry David Harmon

Gerry David Harmon 58 of Lake Mississippi was born June 25, 1965

at Newton Hospital in Newton Mississippi. He passed from this life Tuesday September 5th around 5:57 pm at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson Mississippi. 

Gerry was very mechanically inclined. He loved big diesel trucks, heavy equipment, and Harley Davidson motorcycles. Gerry was a compassionate man and never met a stranger. He always greeted everyone with a big smile and a kind word. Known as “Bull” by his closest friends and family he was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by many. 

Gerry was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Lorene Harmon, of Lake Mississippi. His grandparents were Owen and Helen Harmon of Pulaski, Mississippi, and Edgar and Elizabeth McGee of Lake Mississippi. Gerry is survived by his two brothers Randy (Janet) Harmon, and Shannon (Stacy) Harmon of Lake Mississippi, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Both the viewing and funeral services for Gerry will be held at Forest Pentecostal Church. 880 Highway 35 N., Forest, MS 39074, and will be officiated by Pastor Bill Pitman, Forest Pentecostal Church. The viewing will be held on Saturday, September 9, from 5pm-8pm at the church.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, September 10th at 11 AM with a visitation from 10am-11am. The graveside service will be conducted at Dennis Cemetery in Lake, MS

All services will be directed by Ott & Lee of Forest. 

Pallbearers include Walter White, BJ Poole, Ronald Bray, Kevin Richardson, David, Bradley, Mike Harris, Joe Gay, and Willie Hunt.
