Ginny Price

Ginny Price, 68, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at home.  Visitation will be 4 -6pm Friday, October 8, 2021, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS, with services to follow at 6pm in the chapel of the funeral home.

Virginia Diane Sharp Price “Ginny” was born February 26, 1953 in Moberly, Missouri. She was the daughter of the late Edward Duane Sharp, the late Betty Jane Joiner and Ernie Dell Joiner, Sr. She was known as a hard worker and took pride in being a nurse for 47 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Survivors include her three daughters, Amy Smith Dennison (Tim) of Pelahatchie, MS, Mysti Snowdy of Madison, MS, and Sarah Curro (Joseph) of Brandon, MS and one son, Michael Price (Dana) of Brandon, MS. Ginny had 11 grandchildren: Aaron Curro, Alexandra Snowdy, Brynn Snowdy, Allie Curro, Laney Dennison, Joshua Snowdy, Adam Curro, Wesley Price, Axton Curro, Aspyn Curro, Myles Price and one great-grandchild, Asher Curro.  She has one brother, Ernie Dale Joiner from Flora, MS and one sister, Tammy Joiner of Lake St. John, LA, and 5 half siblings from her home state of Missouri, Wesley Sharp, Melinda Adams, Jewell Sharp, Warren Sharp and Charlie Sharp. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jane Joiner; father, Elbert Duane Sharp; step father, Ernie Dale Joiner, Jr.; grandparents, Elizabeth Virginia Levell Atkins, and Eugene Atkins. She loved spending time with her family during the holidays and vacations. She will be forever loved and missed.
