Gladys "Tina" Leach

Mrs. Gladys “Tina” Leach age 91, and a resident of Lawrence passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 6, 2019 from the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sam Taylor, Rev. Victor Bugg, and Rev. Aaron Woods officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Newton County under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 am and continue until 12:45 pm Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Leach was a lifelong resident of Newton County, a homemaker and a wonderful cook. Known as "Granny" to her family, she will be remembered for the love that she had for her children, and grandchildren. She was a member of Pine Ridge Missionary Baptist Church at Lawrence.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Charlie Leach; her son: Larry Leach; two sons-in-law: Claude Brown and Calley Walker; her parents: Manuel and Laura Bryant Fagan; three sisters: Mildred Mabry, Virginia Weems, and Betty Gillette and one brother: Robert Marshall “Sonny” Fagan.

Survivors include her daughter Betty Walker (C.W. Sanderson) of Lawrence; her daughter-in-law: Marsha Leach of Lawrence; grandchildren: Terry (Lynn) Brown; Donny (Sonya) Brown; Joshua Walker, Christopher (Nikki) Leach and Jessica Stokes; great-grandchildren: Bianca (Robbie) Carey, Ethan Walker, Tyler Bray, Taylor Walker, Adrianna Leach, Dawson Brown and Aubree Stokes; great-great grandchildren: Aiden Massey, Easton Carey, and Payton Rae Carey; ten nieces and nephews also survive.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ethan Walker, Josh Walker, Kollin Ramsey, Tyler Bray, Alton Gibbs, Randy Parks, Dawson Brown, and David Mabry.

Honorary Pallbearers will be C.W. Sanderson, Chris Leach, and Donny Brown.
