Glen I. Miller, 75, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation is 9 – 10:30 am Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Graveside Services are 11 am Thursday at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MS.
Mr. Miller was born in Brooke Mills, PA on June 22, 1938 to the late John Calvin Miller and Mary Lamborn Miller. He retired in 1976 from the U. S. Air Force. He was stationed in several different Countries including, Korea, North Africa, and Germany. He was a member of Crossview Baptist Church in Brandon, MS and also retired from the U. S. Postal Service.
Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jewel Miller on May 27, 2013; his sisters, Josephine (Jo) Pepple, Pauline (Polly) Brenner, Laura (Sis) Gormont, Leona (Chuck) Phillips; and a brother, Donald (Bud) Miller.
Survivors include his sister, Dorothy (Pudy) Shaw; children, Linda Hughes (Ron), Mary Sylvest (John), Joanne Saucier, Evelyn Jeannette Mickael and Terry Brantley (Charlie); twelve grandchildren and fourteen grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to an animal rescue shelter of your choice.
