Glennice Griffin

Glennice Carolyn Griffin, 78, a resident of Brandon, MS and formerly of Pelahatchie, MS passed away December 19, 2018 at her home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with interment in the Canton Cemetery in Canton, MS. Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm at the funeral home and from 1-1:45 pm Sunday.

We are saddened this day by the passing of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, Carolyn Griffin. She has gained her wings and flying high to meet our Heavenly Father.  She has been a strong, independent women and someone we have admired and proud to call Mom! She worked 21 years at Walmart and loved serving others. She was a member of John’s Journey of Faith Church where she loved her church family. She was loved so much by so many!  Our hearts are broken for we will miss her greatly!

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Griffin; parents, Roy McNeal and Stella Elizabeth Burrell McNeal; son-in-law, Ricky Edwards.

She is survived by her children, Beverly Griffin (Steve) Schmoker, Billy Griffin, Tiffeny (Eric) Anderson and Lisa Edwards; grandchildren: Joey Edwards, Gina Luther, Jennifer Caldera, Charles Dudley Jr., Chad Griffin, Brittney Anderson, Justin Griffin, Taylor Anderson, and Walker Anderson and 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Sarah, Dorothy, Carla and Betty; brothers, Milton, Charles Allen, James and Billy Ray; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
