Glenwood Bustin

Glenwood Bustin, age 93, and a current resident of the Aldersgate Retirement Community in Meridian, where he made many friends and enjoyed the friendships, music, games and food, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Bustin was a native of Scott County and a longtime resident of Meridian, a devout Christian who loved the Lord, deacon and member at Northcrest Baptist Church. He loved to read the Bible and continued to grow in his faith as he worshipped by watching church services on television when he was unable to attend. A sheet metal worker by trade, Mr. Bustin worked for many years at Ziller Sign Company and Massey Sign Company.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Mrs. Margaret Bailey Bustin (2011), his parents: Jessie and Annie Laura Peogler Bustin, and all of his siblings.

Survivors include two daughters: Margaret Ann (Ronnie) Knight of Meridian and Janet (David) Crenshaw of Collierville, TN; one grandson: Glenn (Amy) Knight and one great-granddaughter: Hannah Knight, all of Frisco, TX.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the Aldersgate Retirement Community for their care and love shown to their loved one.
