Gloria Ann Stringer, 49, passed away Tues. Aug. 30, 2011 at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS after a long battle with cancer. Visitation will be Wed. Aug. 31, 2011 from 5pm.-8pm. at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2pm. Thurs. Sept. 1, 2011 at the funeral home with interment to follow in the Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.
Mrs. Stringer was born in Tutwiller, MS and was a longtime resident of Rankin County. She followed the Christian faith. Mrs. Stringer was friendly to everyone and she never met a stranger. She always had a loving smile and the biggest heart.
She is survived by her son, David Kennon Stringer; daughter, Linda Gail Stringer; six sisters, Gail Pellegrine, Marie Marchman, Mary Hester, Kathy Stone, Mae Reeder, and Faye Reeder; one brother, James Reeder and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Stringer in preceded in death by her son, Billy Jack Sacha and her father, Marvin Edward Reeder.
