Grace C Curry

Grace C. Curry, 78, of Pearl, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Columbia Nursing and Rehab.  Visitation will be Friday, October 27, 2023, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS and again on Saturday, October 28, starting at 10am at the funeral home with an 11am graveside service to follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.

  She was born on August 26, 1945 in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Of the Baptist faith, Grace most recently attended Andrew Chapel. She studied cosmetology and started a printing business with her husband. However, ultimately Grace enjoyed a long career with Jackson Oncology as a patient representative. Grace was also active with the Mississippi Association of Recovering Pharmacists.

In her free time, she loved to cook and was very involved in her children's lives. Grace was very much what you would call a "hands-on mama". Even as time went on, she was passionate about her grandchildren as well, always happy to lend a hand when needed and delighted in helping raise them.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Robert Crutcher and Nina Roper Crutcher.

She was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

Grace is survived by her daughter, Heidi Ashmore; grandchildren, Aubrey Oswalt (Christian), Hayden Oswalt, Parker Robinson, and Ryleigh Ashmore; one great-granddaughter on the way; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

She will be so dearly missed.
