Grace Margree Jones Day, 79, of Ocean Springs, Miss., passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 13 after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18 at Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene in Jackson, Miss. The Rev. James Stonelake of Northfield Church of the Nazarene will officiate. Burial will follow at Lakewood South Memorial Park in Jackson, Miss. Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, February 17 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, Miss.
Grace was born in Union, Miss on June 11, 1933, married Bobby Gene Day on Feb. 27, 1954, and had two daughters. Grace spent most of her life as a dedicated wife and mother, but in later years worked with her brother in his furniture business in Pearl, Miss.
Grace is survived by two daughters, Patsy Day Stonelake (Jim); Judy Day Isbell (Tim); three grandchildren, Rebecca Lynn Stonelake, John David Stonelake and Patrick Travis Isbell; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.
Grace is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Jane Dickerson Jones and her father George Andrew Jones; her husband Bobby Gene Day; her brother, Johnny Lumas Jones; and her sister, Floyce Jones Kendrick.
Grace always loved her Lord, her family and her friends.
