GRACE B. STEADHAM
LEESBURG
Mrs. Grace B. Steadham, age 74, a resident of the Leesburg Community passed away Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital in Brandon. Visitation was held Friday, December 17th 3pm-8pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton and 8:30am-2pm Sat. at Ott & Lee. Services were held 3pm Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Leesburg Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Joseph Oster officiated the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
She is a native of Smith County. Grace loved to sew and cook and take care of her family. She dedicated her life to taking care of her daughter, Brenda. Her family said, “ She was one of the strongest women that they ever knew.” She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jimmy Steadham; daughter, Brenda Joyce Chandler and son, Dewayne Steadham (Teresa) all of Leesburg; sister, Martha Hall (Drew); brothers, J.W. Bynum (Dorothy), Johnnie Bynum and Dale Bynum all of Pelahatchie; 3 grandchildren, Curry Steadham, Shannon Meyer (Phillip) and Robert McInnis and 4 great grandchildren, Raynee Meyer, Rylan Meyer, Sarah McInnis and Melanie Ball and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were Brian Hall, Kevin Hall, Ken Bynum, Vince Bynum, John Bynum, Curtis Coleman, Tony King and Joe Bynum.
