Grady Chance, Sr.

Grady Mitchell Chance, Sr., age 76, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away December 20, 2020 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Chance was born September 21, 1944 in Laurel, MS to Grady E. Chance and Wilda Sanders Chance. He was married to Sondra R. Chance. Mr. Chance was a regional manager for E. and J. Gallo Winery in Modesto, CA. He proudly served in the United States Marines right out of high school “Semper Fi”. He enjoyed cooking for his family on the Big Green Egg and loved watching Alabama football games with them. He especially enjoyed spending time at his mountain home in North Carolina. He loved his family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Mr. Chance was preceded in death by his parents, Grady E. Chance and Wilda Sanders Chance.

Mr. Chance is survived by his wife, Sondra R. Chance; sons, Grady Mitchell (Marta) Chance, Jr. and Richard (Dana Church) Chance; sister, Betty Jean Hammack; brother, David (Martha) Chance; grandchildren, Lauren (Joe) Reser, Ryann Chance and Ayden Chance; great grandchild, Lyla Mae Reser; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
