BURIAL: GLENWOOD MEMORIAL PARK IN RICHLAND

VISITATION: 12 NOON MONDAY AT OTT AND LEE IN BRANDON

Grant Owen Baker, 58, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 at the V. A. Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation is 12 noon Monday, June 30, 2014 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Services are 2 pm Monday at the funeral home with burial in Glenwood Memorial Park.

Grant was a native of Petal and a resident of Rankin County for the past 31 years. He was an Air Force Vietnam Veteran and was Baptist. Grant worked for Mason and Overstreet Welding and Machine Shop and had also worked for T. Manning Welding and Machine Shop before becoming disabled. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Douglas Baker and Arretha Brown Baker.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila Baker of Pearl; brother, Mark Baker (Judy) of Petal; sister, Connie Pierpont of Petal; 3 nieces, 2 nephews and 1 great nephew.
